He has a passion for freedom, believing that man is designed to best live free and accountable for his own actions.
These underlying passions and beliefs led Andy to become involved in the Reform Party in early 1989 to 1992. In 1993, he became a director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation and is credited with the success of that organization. He was chairman for almost two decades. Andy has also been involved Simon House, one of Canada’s most successful government-free addiction and treatment centers based Calgary since 1986. Andy was on the founding board of Charities Intelligence, and the Canadian Landmines Foundation and has been involved in numerous not-for-profit artistic ventures Calgary. Andy also sat on the Board of Lakehead University.
Currently, Andy is Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Constitution Foundation and the Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation.
