Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation Announces Major Donation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The new year is starting off with a bang for the Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation.

Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation (GRPF) announced today that it has received a generous $20,000 personal donation from Andy Crooks in support of the 2014 Kids and Family programs offered at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park.

“I am pleased to make this donation in support of one of the many amazing programs the GRPF is offering the public.  I hope that this announcement encourages others to donate in support of programs and the ongoing development of the Park,” said Andy Crooks.

“The GRPF is very pleased to have received this generous gift,” said Susan de Caen, Executive Director of the GRPF.  “The funding will allow us to provide another great summer of outdoor educational and recreational activities for kids and their families.”

The donation is designated to support the Kids and Family programs being offered this summer.  The programs range from naturalist day camps to family archaeology digs, pond exploration and tracks and animal programs. This funding will be used to provide program materials and assist with staffing costs.
