I have one hope in this pandemic crisis. I hope that Canadians appreciate the importance of freedom more than ever.
Having lost them in the clutter of orders for vaccines, lockdowns and masks, we may understand how important they are.
Pictures of pastors being arrested may survive and thrive as reminders of what can happen when that thin line between freedom and statist terror is crossed.
Is this hope vain?
I think not. Follow the money. In campaigns to raise money for legal freedom battles, Canadians, even those in respectful and deferential Ontario, stepped up and committed strongly. I believe that this sentiment is a reflection of the deep desire for most Canadians to put the government genie back in the bottle.
